Nokia will produce yet another two low cost mobile phones through Nokia 110 and Nokia 112 and it will soon arrive in the Philippines. Even with the emergence of Nokia Lumia 610 and Nokia Lumia 900 to its roster, Nokia still pushed their strategy because as we all know not everyone can get themselves a smartphone. With the help of the new phones, Nokia keeps up their advocacy to bring mobile phones to a whole lot more people around the world– but this time, for only a fraction of the cost.

The Nokia 110 and 112 features can be considered exceptional for its possible price bearing the Nokia Easy SWAP technology that lets you change SIM cards in just a few clicks (it is Dual SIM but not Dual standby), VGA camera(640×480 pixels) for random snapshots, FM radio to get the ears busy, email and instant messaging (plus the Nokia 112 comes preloaded with eBuddy chat), social networking sites integrated in such as Facebook and Twitter, and a microSD memory expansion of up to 32GB for all the multimedia needs. Apart from that, the innovative Nokia Browser can help you save some time and money with the help of its 90% data compression ability. So that means that you can enjoy faster browsing at a lower cost. Also, it will ship with several EA games on-board for maximum entertainment. See these official videos by Nokia.

Now you may think that the both units may seem to be very identical to each other as mentioned above but the real deal breaker is the battery capacity. The Nokia 112 has a more powerful battery at 1400mAh against the 1020mAh of the Nokia 110. Oh, if ever you’re not fond of Dual SIM phones you can opt to choose the single SIM variant of the two called as Nokia 111 and Nokia 113 respectively.

No official statement yet from Nokia Philippines regarding the official price but considering the capabilities, let’s guess the price of Nokia 110 will be around P1,900-P2,000 while the Nokia 112 will be about P2,100-P2,200. The Nokia 110 will come earlier this Q2 while Nokia 112 will follow shortly at Q3 of 2012.

  1. When is Nokia 112 coming out? Is it dual stand by or easy switch? ’cause you can see on the home screen 2 signals. It would be great if Nokia 112 has dual SIM standby feature.

    1. Yes, it is Easy SWAP. No official announcement yet regarding their availability in the Philippines. I’ll keep this post updated once it comes out.

    1. Yes, I agree with you Henry because it is small and can be handled easily using one hand. But, texting or calling while driving is not allowed. ^_^
